Reading Lab
We teach to read, comprehend, think, and argue
For children aged 6 – 16 years
Many parents value reading and literary culture and want to share them with their children. They often see digital devices as the main barrier. But we believe reading and technology can go hand in hand. In fact, screens can help draw children toward books. Digital culture and reading traditions can coexist—and enrich each other.

How Our Classes Work?
Learning with us is never boring!
Group sessions: Each group lesson is led by two experienced teachers and includes 5 to 10 students, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Lessons take place online via Zoom, with a strong focus on interaction and personal attention.

Between live sessions, your child continues to build and reinforce their reading skills through our custom-designed Bonus activities.

Bonus activities are optional — but kids love them! They are updated every week and take about 15 minutes per day.

Who can benefit from our classes?
  • Children aged 6 and up
Our classes are ideal for early readers—whether your child is just starting to decode words or is moving from sounding out syllables to reading fluently.
We help build strong foundational skills in reading, develop retelling abilities, and expand vocabulary in a fun, supportive environment.
  • Children aged 7 to 8
Ideal for children ready to boost their reading confidence.
Our program strengthens reading fluency, improves comprehension, encourages expressive retelling, and helps grow a rich vocabulary.
  • Children aged 9 to 11
Designed for more independent readers who want to deepen their comprehension.
We help children interpret texts, express their thoughts clearly, and build strong argumentation skills—great for school discussions and writing.
  • Teens aged 11 to 16
Students learn to analyze literary, nonfiction, and opinion-based texts, express ideas with clarity and nuance, and engage in thoughtful, respectful dialogue.
  • Children with reading difficulties, including dyslexia
Our supportive approach helps improve reading fluency, reduce errors, build attention and focus, and develop positive reading habits.
We work on strengthening comprehension and analysis skills—always at the child’s pace and with their confidence in mind.
At the Reading Lab, your child will:
  • Discover new authors and read a mix of modern and classic texts
  • Improve performance across school subjects that require strong reading skills
  • Expand their vocabulary and learn to use subject-specific terms
  • Develop clear, confident oral expression
  • Practice friendly, respectful discussion and debate
  • Broaden their worldview through diverse reading and conversation
  • Strengthen creativity through engaging tasks and open-ended questions
  • Build self-esteem and overcome the fear of making mistakes
  • Learn how to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team

About Us
The Reading Lab is a project created by a team of educators with years of experience designing engaging, effective online learning tools focused on reading and literacy.

In our live online classes, children build key academic skills: they practice fluent reading, learn to express their own ideas clearly, summarize others' thoughts, and extract meaning from complex texts across a variety of subjects.

We speak the language of 21st-century children—meeting them where they are and making learning both relevant and inspiring.

Feedback from Families
  • Maria
Thank you for your professionalism, support, wonderful and attentive teachers, for exciting lessons and interesting homework!
You have a great team! My daughter and I liked everything!
My child has become more confident, and most importantly has developed interest in the subject! Huge thanks to you!
  • Marina
I also want to share some feedback 😄 Vera is absolutely thrilled with every lesson!
She really has a heavy workload right now, which is probably made even harder by her naturally slow pace — something we're also trying to work on.
Realistically, knowing she has almost no free time, I was thinking about canceling, for example, writing.
But Vera flat-out refused! She's so engaged in your lessons.
I also see big progress in her reading, and it’s absolutely clear that it was you who got this process going — all the way back in the summer during the one-on-one sessions.
I honestly can't imagine where we'd be now if we hadn’t found you back then!
Thank you for your work and for the interest you spark in children!🙏🏻
Wishing health and all the best to everyone involved ✨

Thank you for the report — it accurately reflects our challenges in writing and will really help us focus on the right areas.
Huge thanks to all the teachers for their involvement, the engaging way they present the material, and their kind attitude toward the children.
Not once did the lessons cause even the slightest resistance — despite the hot weather and the fact that it's the holidays :)
    Thank you!

Peter attended the Reading Lab for at least half a year this school year.
He didn’t miss a single class - not because I told him to, but entirely because he wanted to.
He always ran to the lessons with joy.
The bookstore has become our favorite place - just mention an upcoming session, and he’s inspired to pick up something new to read.
And what matters most to me is how his speech has changed.
It’s become free, open, and that’s not easy to achieve with an introvert! :)
We’re looking forward to the next school year!

I’m so glad that the Reading Lab is now available online, and I’m very grateful to Anna Levinzon and the whole team for the absolutely wonderful lessons - both the weekly online classes and the 20-minutes-a-day homework.
The lessons are genuinely interesting - once the kids read Starobinets, and then wrote their own detective stories, for example.
The approach is very progressive, the children are treated with so much kindness and respect, and the materials are incredibly diverse.
And the biggest joy for me is that I no longer have to force my son to study his native language (which is especially relevant for bilingual kids).
Greg has become interested on his own!
So thanks to the Reading Lab, my motherly guilt about reading is now completely gone - and that’s worth a lot.
Once again - huge thanks to the incredibly professional team, and see you in September!

I personally really enjoyed peeking in on the lessons. The approach to teaching was fresh and original, and the kids were genuinely engaged in the process.
I (unfortunately) can’t say that my son suddenly became passionate about reading after the classes, but he did enjoy participating, and he did the homework (even if not always correctly).
But what it gave him is the ability to explain or talk about what he saw or heard.
These lessons help children open up - they offer a chance to connect with a meaningful story.
And maybe, layer by layer, this experience will create a foundation for seeing literature as something exciting, not boring (like it often is at school).
    Thank you.
